And just like that another weekend long weekend to add, has come and gone with a blink of an eye i think it went so fast due to the fact that Leroy and I worked hard on our housie. Thursday i went straight after work to our House it got me thinking that this is how it will be from May after work driving the road home. was exciting. We then went out for Dinner at Spur i have been craving Ribs for a while now and I got what i wanted sadly they gave me the hot sauce but i used it and with dead lips and all i enjoyed my food. We ended that night with some funnies and catching up on our series I love how we like most of the same shows. Friday up and ready off to JHB, which lucky for us that road is nice and fast enough. and Shopping we did, Got the long awaited shelf i just wanted to go home and put it up hahaha. then we got a few things for the house. we ended the trip at a unknown Greek restaurant and it was the best choice.... My first DIY for this blog and I am excited to show you what I made. Leroy and I had a DIY Saturday fixed things around the house and made it look good. I must say its really coming together nicely i am so excited every time something new comes in and its up in its place.... So what i made was a key holder, i see you get a lot of nice ones lately and i have to really stop myself to not get it as i know i wanted to specially make one for the house. So what you need:  * Wooden blocks * Paint * letters * wooden pictures * hooks for keys so once painted i let it dry for a bit: So then you glue the wooden letters and pictures onto the blocks then you screw in the hooks make sure its tight. then i took the double sided tape and placed it on the wall. THE END RESULT There we have it i love how it looks cant wait to make more things for the house. Creative juice's flowing hope you enjoyed it!!!!

Update on our Nest! Leroy moved in the weekend and what a job that was, worked out enough for the week hahaha. Loading and packing is not fun in any way and seeing that your whole life fits in a box is shocking hahaha. We started at 8 with the help of my brother who was an excellent packer when we thought we didn’t have space for one more thing he moved something and bam there was space for 10 more things hahaah, we took the first load to the house unpacked and headed for the next. By then my parents came and I was super excited to show them the house our house the house they will be visiting us in. I felt proud and so happy. We borrowed a so called trailer from a friend of his for his bed and bigger things that weren’t road worthy but it got it there and back. So by the title I am sure you know what I could be blogging about? The reason I am happy again. LEROY! We go through a lot of things as a person and there are times where you meet someone and after a few months of dating you end up talking of YOUR LIFE TOGETHER, what you two would like and wish and dream of how you would like it to be. But then sadly it ends and that heart break makes you feel like you will never be able to find someone again yet in fact the thought of having to start over and try find someone and learn things about them again hurts where you just got used to the ways of the other now to start fresh is hard and these days it’s hard to find people the old fashioned way. Already the end of January of 2014 and well so far so good nothing to really complain about. I think its safe to say that if the year starts as good as this I think that the rest of the year is looking pretty good for me. So the last time I blogged was about the week before the mine closed. Update: a dear close uncle passed away close to Christmas, Christmas day was really amazing we were 20 people in total and it was great. Well besides the washing of dishes and cleaning it was good, the way it should be spent with the people you love. Three days after my brother and I were off to Durban. I enjoyed it very much, still felt unreal even though we were in Durban but it was nice to get away and see different things. We all have been waiting for this week and now we wishing for Friday already. Guess that’s the way we are, we all want to rest after the year. I can not believe that next week its Christmas then we doing the countdown to 2014. All feels unreal. Why am I always so tiered? Friday but Time isn’t making it feel like it! Ok I have to admit time is flying faster every week and before we know it its Christmas then 2014 and the time off we waited for is done and we back at work just like that. They had a funeral tribute and the one guy looked at his grave stone which indicated his year of birth – this year and he explained that the “-“ in between the two dates represent your whole life. Which is sad but true looking at the line it isn’t long at all and it does get you to thinking that life is much shorter than we think and we should really appreciate what we have now at this second, time is flying and we have so much plans for weekends and holidays and specials events that we get to excited about those days and wish past the normal every day moments which normally tend to be the ones which we remember the most.
