Augusts Little things.

And just like that August is done and Hello September. September is going to be a busy month some how and we are already in the middle of September but let’s get into August.

First was my father’s birthday. Sadly we didn’t spend the day with him as he was away for the weekend which sounded like they enjoyed way more so just happy he got to enjoy his day and he was luckily a phone call away.

We at least got one rest day off this month which helped to sleep late for a bit.

At the end of July we got our beautiful bridesmaids dresses. We where all so worried that they would not fit and once we tried them on it was like a glove a perfect comfortable fit. Made us more excited for the wedding which is as we speak #31 days away. Unreal if you ask me. When there was 50 days left the bridal and groom party got together took a photo and we created this count down

On the 16th we got a new baby Mia in our home So we have been wanting to get a cat for a while now, as I kept thinking that Luka must be lonely no friends, in the house more than outside and alone when we are at work. But Luka’s personality stopped us from getting one almost every time.

The first day went as we thought it would. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. He was not even in the same room as her and he would Hiss and growl that cat. It got irritating and hard even though it was just day one. It just made me worried like why did I now want to bring in another cat and create this environment. I read online that it can take cats from 6-9 months to get along. And I just kept thinking I don’t have that patience to wait that long for them to get along. (yes I don’t like waiting)

The second day we were in our gym room soon to one day a cinema room with Mia and Luka came in this time he got closer to her. But as soon as she would get into his personal space bubble he would Hiss and run off.
The third day Leroy got home earlier and he told me that Mia was chasing Luka up and down the house. You can see she saw that Luka is more Growl and moan than really actually doing anything as he is too scared really. So she just runs after him to play. And he thought he could hide but that girl she would jump climb or crawl where ever that little body would fit.

And the fourth day I was sitting in the lounge waiting for Leroy and I looked and the two cats and I saw Luka like he wanted to scratch her but not at the same time I wanted to chase him away but when I looked again they were playing like serious sister brother love, he did not hiss or growl once at her that day. 4 days! So relieved so happy!
By the weekend those two were lazy and quiet when I looked for them I saw they were laying on my bag that Luka turned into his bed in the room, my heart melted right there it was so cute. Now at least during the day we can have them play together without having her stay in the room alone cause of Luka. I am so happy I didn’t have to hear that hissing for 6 -9 months. I would not have made it and I think neither would Leroy.

It is really cute to see them play together. Luka doesn’t realize how heavy he is actually yet so he just goes full on WWE on her tiny body one shot down full weight on her. Or like a big brother mean move he would on purpose you can see it in his evil mean little face, she would play by herself with something and then we would just walk past and paw her like a slap through the face. Like um Luka seriously. But wait till she is bigger and he is a big older and not so active then we will see how the wheel turns. She is a really cute cat. Her face melted our hearts from the first look. She for a little cat has a very load cry and a very killing stink fart. And how your busy cooking in the kitchen and all of a sudden she jumps on your legs nails and all. It is an adjustment now where we had our routine with Luka who would came and go as he wants to. And now its Mia who needs to be fed often and out in bed close the door as she wont lay still then the crying at 05H30 AM the banging some how on the door. So the late sleep is a bit messed up but its ok I’m excited to see how she grows up and what personality she gets.

On the 20th I did a matric farewell shoot. I love how with every shoot I do I learn something and I grow and when I look at my pictures and how it turned out I get excited I just want to share it with everyone and brag cause I am proud of myself and happy that I am getting better. I may not be that high up but watch out I am getting there. Or you can see for yourself and judge. And I got a few other bookings for the year which is good for me J

On the 29th we had the Bride Nadia’s Kitchen Tea. Which turned out Amazing. The look on her face when we all screamed surprise was priceless. And just to be able to spend the day with her before the day gets to close was really nice. Besides the fact that for some reason it was like I have never driven to PTA before as my mother and I got lost on our way there and back lets not ask any questions as to how that happened as I honestly hit a blank and have no clue. But all that matters is that we got to spend some more time together, had an amazing day and we got where we needed to be safely.

On the same day Carlo had his bachelor party which by the sounds of it was good, just love the fact that he wore a Blue bull shirt. Such class lol

That was that, the month felt long but looking at it like this it seemed short and like we did nothing. But it didn’t feel like it. Either way will try for the new month to take more pictures to document the month better

Thank you for reading, hope to see you back here soon
