2015 update post



Hey guys

I can’t believe I haven’t posted in a while and look where we are now 

Happy New Year. I know we are already 3 days in the new year but hope it’s a great year for everyone and may it bring happiness and blessings.

I wanted to do a blog post on an update on 2015 to date just a little catch up to look back on for myself I like at times to ready back on my posts its like a story book of my life.

November we was my and Leroys 2 year anniversary where we went to Olifants riverlodge which was just perfect to relax and swim and get away for the weekend. 

Delene also asked me to be her Maid of Honour which was a total surprise for me I truly didn’t expect to have such a big honour. I learnt a lot from Nadia’s wedding and her sister who was the Maid of Honour so I am prepared for this journey with a lot of blog posts to follow so be on the look out for both our wedding posts. As you read from my previous post I am Engaged and I love taking pictures of my ring in different places so here is a few pictures I have taken I cannot help it and I get good practice for when I do engagement photography but it is easier to take pictures with my ring than with others I will tell you that. 


And also we are a whole month engaged just a little update. 



December the most wonderful time of the year. It was hard to go to work when people were not there and you are in the holiday mood.

This Christmas we had everyone over at our house which was really amazing. There was so much food that everyone made and we just stuffed ourselves. It was so nice to just have our family and friends here the way its meant to be. We took our annual Christmas picture not at the same place but at least we have the picture 



Our friends got us this super cute Christmas stockings for us and the cats and I cant wait to put them up next year. 


For new years eve my mother and I went to have a girls day just walk around  and catch up and the evening Leroy and I just watched some movies and snacked of course and then we went to Grace land in Secunda where they have the fireworks which is really nice to see just a 10 minute show. 


Not much to this post but I just wanted to add the few things that have happened so far. This year I hope to achieve more better posts with my blog. As you can maybe see that mypage is a bit different I am trying to make it look good and more personalized to best suit me and what I want this blog post to be about and to represent

Felt like I lost a part of me...

It’s funny how it started, just two normal people chatting, looking for a possible relationship but not really expecting it at the same time. When I first started really chatting to Willem I can honestly say I would not have thought for a thousand years that I would be feeling this way. Hours, days, weeks and months went by of us just talking over the phone. Before I knew it we smsed each other when we woke up, during the day and the last thing we did before we went to sleep. And then when he started to call hearing his voice and the laugh that is something that got me through a lot of things in the time we have been speaking.   We became good friends who listened to one another’s situations and tried to help where we could, we were there when one was feeling down and we were there when something great happened no matter what we were always there for each other (and we still are). Picture Perfect Weekend, no PUN intended

What a great weekend. Just to be able to spend it with my love just having him here was all a girl could ask for. Friday was half day and after work I went to my friend had a cocktail and just catched up. I cannot believe how big the kiddies got and how fast time actually flew. Willem was nice enough to not only get my wheel fixed and balanced he also then went to have it cleaned (which was going to happen Saturday any way but he could not wait one day J but we love him for that) We then went to go get DVD’s and snacks placed a bed in front and there we watched our movies the first we watched was 10 Years, really good movie of people who go back to their High school Reunion and the movie turns out different that what you expect actually. Really Good.   By 10 while watching Flight we were all trying to stay awake so we called it a night. Saturday we got up packed and my brother went in my car and willem and myself went in his car to Pretoria. With a few stupid drivers on the road
